1.Each slip ring has its rated working voltage, and the rated voltage is mainly limited by the insulation material and the size of the space. Exceeding the rated voltage of the slip ring may result in poor insulation, internal breakdown, and in severe cases, it may cause burnout. 2.The area and conductivity of the contact material of the rated current of the slip ring determine the maximum loadable current of the slip ring. If the rated working current is exceeded, it will cause the temperature of the contact point to rise sharply, causing the air at the contact position to expand, causing the contact point to separate and the contact point to vaporize. In the slightest, the contact will be intermittently defective, and in severe cases, the electric slip ring will be completely damaged and is invalid. The insulation resistance of the electric slip ring usually refers to the conduction resistance between any one ring of the multi-channel electric slip ring and the other rings and the shell. 3.The insulation resistance is affected by the insulating material between the rings and the environmental humidity. When the insulation resistance is low, it will cause interference, error, crosstalk, etc. during the transmission of the control signal. When the voltage is high, it will cause ignition and heating. 4.The contact resistance of the slip ring is a requirement to describe the contact reliability of the slip ring. The size of the contact resistance depends on the type of contact friction pair material, contact pressure, and the smoothness of the contact surface. When the contact material is determined, the contact resistance cannot be blindly pursued lower. Appropriately reducing the contact resistance requirements will extend the life of the slip ring. 5.The dynamic contact resistance of the electric slip ring refers to the fluctuation range of the resistance between the rotor and the stator in a channel of the electric slip ring under the working state. The influencing factors are the same as the contact resistance, and the rotation speed also has a great influence on it. 6.The life of a slip ring refers to the time from the activation of the slip ring to the failure of any loop of the slip ring. The factors affecting the life of the slip ring are as follows: the type of contact material, contact pressure, contact volume, working current, working environment, etc.
