Moteng Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

Professional Testing

Professional Testing

The Testing Center of Moteng Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was established in 2012, covers an area of 800 square meters, and is located at No. 339 Zhongbai Road, Jiading District, Shanghai. In January 2021, the Testing Center successfully passed the national CNAS laboratory accreditation review and obtained the CNAS-accredited laboratory certificate in April 2021.

The Testing Center comprises several departments: the Materials R&D Laboratory, the Physical Properties Laboratory, the Environmental Laboratory, the Carbon Brush Wear Laboratory, the Mechanical Motion Laboratory, the Three-Coordinate Measuring Room, the Working Current Capacity and Communication Function Laboratory, the High-Current Input and Slip-Ring Simulation Laboratory, and the Climate Simulation Laboratory. The center has received an investment of RMB 10 million and is equipped with more than 100 sets of major testing instruments and equipment. Its development positioning is to conduct scientific, rigorous, accurate, and efficient experimental analysis, providing testing services to frontline research and production in the wind power industry as well as in the fields of carbon brushes, slip rings, and brush holders. It aims to comprehensively support the development of carbon-based materials and the verification of the reliability of wind power products, while establishing specialized laboratories and research platforms.

Materials Research and Development Laboratory

Physics Laboratory

Three-Coordinate Measurement Laboratory

The Daisy mobile bridge-type three-coordinate measuring machine is a versatile geometric measurement instrument that features a mobile bridge structure. It is widely used in industries such as aviation, aerospace, weapons manufacturing, automotive, engine production, machine tool manufacturing, tool and die making, electronics, and other sectors requiring precise measurements of complex spatial geometrical quantities.

Technical features:
1. The X-axis guide rail employs a patented, precision “L”-shaped crossbeam that is lightweight, has a low center of gravity, exhibits high bi-directional rigidity, and minimizes dynamic errors, thereby ensuring greater positional accuracy and stability.
2. All core components are sourced from well-known brands, ensuring the equipment’s precision, stability, and efficiency.
3. Supports trigger-based, scanning, and non-contact detection systems, with options for adding automatic magazine changers, external optical modules, rotary tables, and other accessories.

Environmental Laboratory

Working Current Capacity and Communication Function Laboratory

1. Break-in Test: The equipment utilizes a high-precision AC servo motor combined with a mechanical transmission mechanism to drive the slip ring rotation, with adjustable forward and reverse rotation speeds ranging from 0 to 200 rpm.
2. Continuity Test: The equipment is equipped with 20 continuity-testing channels, enabling it to test test specimens on channels 1 through 20.
3. Static Resistance Testing: AT510 DC Resistance Tester (The motor is rotated to a specified angle, contact resistance for each channel is measured, and the results are automatically saved to the instrument’s internal test database; the instrument also automatically calculates the maximum, minimum, and average values).
4. Dynamic resistance testing: AT510 DC resistance tester (automatically checks each channel at a constant rotational speed and automatically calculates the range).
5. Insulation Resistance Testing: AT682 insulation resistance tester (used to measure the insulation resistance between each set of incoming and outgoing lines, as well as between the incoming/outgoing lines and the enclosure); a PLC-controlled contactor switches among the various test channels, allowing multiple sets of configurable test voltages and insulation resistance ranges; the system automatically performs the tests in sequence and automatically evaluates the results.

Mechanical Motion Laboratory

Climate Simulation Laboratory

Walk-in constant temperature and humidity chambers can accurately simulate a wide range of complex natural environmental conditions, including low temperature, high temperature, high temperature and high humidity, low temperature and low humidity, as well as stable temperature and humidity. They are suitable for reliability testing of products across various industries, such as wind power equipment and industrial products.

1. Static climate simulation testing: This capability enables static climate simulation tests for large-scale workpieces and products, featuring a wide temperature and humidity control range, high control accuracy, and rapid heating and cooling rates.

2. Dynamic Climate Simulation Testing: This capability enables dynamic climate testing of large-scale workpieces and products. By designing a fixture-based test system that interfaces with the test chamber, it is possible to simulate the dynamic climatic environment experienced by the workpiece during operation.

Carbon Brush Wear Laboratory

Introduction to CNAS Accreditation

On April 7, 2021, Moteng Laboratory successfully passed the accreditation audit conducted by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) and was awarded a laboratory accreditation certificate with CNAS registration number 14577. This milestone signifies that our company is authorized to use the CNAS national laboratory accreditation mark and the ILAC international mutual recognition mark within the scope of accreditation, thereby enhancing the company’s core competitiveness.

The scope of accreditation granted by CNAS this time covers seven testing items: salt spray testing, low-temperature testing, high-temperature testing, alternating damp heat testing, dustproof and waterproof testing, compressive and flexural strength testing, and pull-off force testing of brush conductors.

The attainment of CNAS accreditation signifies that Moteng Laboratory’s quality management system fully complies with international standards, its testing technical capabilities have reached an internationally advanced level, it is now able to achieve mutual recognition of test results on a global scale, and it will thereby promote international cooperation and exchange.

Going forward, our company will efficiently carry out all testing activities in accordance with CNAS-accredited testing procedures and standards, while actively expanding the range of test types to cover more product categories, thereby providing even better service to our clients.
